I know that metal music is sort of frowned upon by the general public, but honestly how can you say it's not REAL music. The guys in metal bands jam harder than most other musicians and they are willing to express themselves through music that is hard and crazy. I stumbled across this great list of power metal bands that have a lot of new bands that kill it. It's pretty inspiring to see there are still a lot of metal bands forming although they have a bit of a negative connotation to them.
